Jon Vandrell, Founder and Investment Professional at Ignite Wealth Services, has always had the entrepreneurial spirit. His journey began at Oklahoma State University, where he earned a master’s degree in international business. That degree took him across the globe, working for his uncle in the Gulf of Mexico for a worldwide oil services vessel company, co-owned by his uncle and a French firm. This unique experience led Jon to spend two years in France, gaining invaluable business insights—until the company was sold, pushing him toward his next adventure.
After a brief stint in the cell phone industry, a friend pointed Jon toward financial services, recognizing his natural ability to build relationships and run a business on his own terms. Seizing the opportunity, Jon partnered with a former football coach who had built a thriving financial planning practice. Drawing from his own athletic background, Jon has seamlessly integrated winning strategies from the field into financial planning, helping his clients pursue their long-term goals with confidence. His personal mission is simple yet powerful: “To help clients create income in retirement that they can’t outlive while protecting the people they love most.”
Outside of the office, Jon’s life is just as fast-paced. He’s passionate about fitness, coaching youth football, and—most importantly—being a devoted dad. Whether he’s shuttling his daughters to highly competitive dance competitions, singing programs, Girl Scouts, or select soccer matches, he embraces every moment of the ride. And he wouldn’t change a thing.
